Render Scape privacy policy
What stays on your Mac, and what you choose to share.
The short version
Render Scape does not require an account. In this version, JMM Technologies does not collect personal information through the app. The app does not contain advertising or tracking, and has no active diagnostic upload connection.
Wallpapers, photos, and settings
Wallpaper selections, customization, rotation, and app preferences are stored locally on your Mac. Photos you import remain local and are not uploaded to JMM Technologies. If enabled, the desktop widget reads a local status snapshot; it does not send that status to us.
Optional local diagnostics
Usage sharing is not enabled by setup. If you enable diagnostic collection, the app can keep local technical summaries, such as app version, device capability, scene or performance state, and event counts. Local summaries are limited to seven days and 256 KiB. This version has no active connection for uploading them.
Turning collection off stops it and clears the queued summaries. The Privacy controls also let you clear local diagnostics. Wallpaper settings are separate and are not reset by clearing diagnostics. If you copy diagnostics and send them to support, you choose what to share.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever message or attachments you provide. Do not send passwords or sensitive files. See website and support privacy information for how support communications are handled.
Apple services
Apple’s App Store, TestFlight, and system diagnostics are separate services governed by Apple’s settings and policies. Information you choose to share through those services is not the same as automatic collection by Render Scape.
Children’s privacy
The current app does not collect personal information through its operation, including from children. If personal information was sent to support in error, contact us.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy before releasing changes that add data collection or online diagnostic services. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to john@jmmtechnologies.app.
